When you make a search on Google, your ip address, the time, and what you searched for is stored in their database forever and this information can be used in a court of law against you. Google will willingly allow authorities to consult their database.

China To Deploy World's Largest People Tracking Network
At least 20,000 police surveillance cameras are being installed along streets here in southern China and will soon be guided by sophisticated computer software from an American-financed company to recognize automatically the faces of police suspects and detect unusual activity.

Concealing Your Safe: How to Out-Sneak the Burglars
Don't think your safe is "safe" because it's hidden. There's no replacement for a good, strong safe that stands up well against break-in attempts--even out in the open. Your safe is more secure when bolted to a floor in plain sight than it is hidden but easily removed once found. If you really want to protect your valuables, hiding your safe should be an extra precaution--invest in quality first. A strong, highly rated safe will do much more to protect your possessions than an inexpensive lock box or diversion safe, no matter how well-hidden.

Howto: use your PC and Webcam as a motion-detecting/recording system
This tutorial will take you step-by-step through setting up your PC and Webcam to act as a motion-detecting and recording security camera system. And the software required to do this is open source (free). In my opinion this tutorial is a gem. Worth a look for sure.

WiFi Spying
Our CIA needs to develop fold out WiFi Spy devices for the field, this will enable them to track international terrorists, hack into Blackberry Type portable devices and monitor computer surfing when an Internet Service Provider cannot be trusted, as in foreign operations.

Mom, There's a Spy on My Desktop... No Not a Fly, a Spy
While finishing dinner a friend of mine heard her 12-year old son's express this while he was completing homework for tommorrow. She thought he said 'there is a fly on my desktop' and politely told him 'tell your father and he will fix it'. Of course he knew that dad doesn't touch computers and said ' but mom it's a spy, not a fly'.
